Scottish Primary Schools Planting Trees

Some of the Primary Schools in Scotland have teamed up with Trees4Scotland to plant trees to help offset their carbon footprints.

Clermiston Primary's visit to Balmuick Farm

In a unique initiative sponsored by BAA, each school will chart the progress of their 50 trees and at the same time learn about the environment, carbon footprints and what we can do to help prevent climate change - like planting trees!

With the help of The Tree Amigos, each school will build up a portfolio of information as they work through various mini-projects, learning along the way about the environment, about trees and about wildlife habitats.

All of the schools involved are invited to take part in a field trip to Comrie to visit our Balmuick woodland project, and to plant some trees! See our gallery for recent visits.
